I’ve been home sick for the past few days and I guess you could say this blog was created as an escape from my boredom and restlessness. However, it’s an idea I’ve had bouncing around in my head for a while now. The concept for my first post was initially going to be the “treasures" inside my home, but I think the cats need to come first.
One of my favorite things about Clarskville - in addition to its close proximity to downtown, the historical homes, Caffe Medici coffee shop - is the neighborhood cats. Kitty, the calico, is mine. Rex belongs to Cindy (who lives a few doors down, one level up). Don’t let him fool you; Rex is an angel-faced killer. I’ve been witness to him maiming birds, squirrels, lizards - you name it. He often sneaks into my apartment to scarf down as much food as he can before I chase him out. I would have taken pictures of Noches (Cindy’s black cat) as well, but he’s likely escaping the late afternoon heat in one of the nooks and crannies of the complex.
